[Solved] crash dump file when staring srcds.

I followed drocona's tut on setting up a source dedicated server, but when i launch srcds.exe i get a "STEAM_......................." (crash dump file).

Can anyone help me

Tell us what the error is, how you started up the server and if you are running mods/plugins.

I'm sure we can help but, not if you don't tell us whats wrong

The thing is no window opens with any errors. The console window just doesnt open when i double-click srcds.exe. By the way i'm following your guide from planethalflife. Anyways, i get a file in the srcds folder called "Steam__194572__2007_10_9T15_53_53C1500.mdmp". I have no plugins or mods installed. It's just the plain old dedicated server.

For the ones interested, the problem was a missing - before the console command in the startupline
