Sever Not Responding

Hey all i have a problem with my dedicated server, so i started this thread to get help and to get help out to others with the same problem

I have created a dedicated server using Source: Dedicated Server, i have setup mani admin and such. When i launch the server i can get into it fine but when my friends try to join it says "Server Not Responding" to them how do i fix this problem please help here on the fourums or email me at drake_zer0@hotmail.com

EDIT: I have tried/ can use both console version and GUI version

friends need the EXTERNAL ip address

and you are probably behind a router which means you have to forward ports

how do i make an EXTERNAL ip and what do i need to download first to star out with

1 you can't make an external IP address, you always have one as long as you are connected to the internet.
2 You don't have to download anything either.

You tell them or make a no-ip.com account and point it to your external IP address and give it to them
