Heres what i dont get, im not behind a router, yet i still have to port foward all this for it to work. Im directly connected to the modem so what exactly is trying to stop the server from showing up?

Try completely disabling the firewall.

Care explaining to me how you can forward ports without having a router or gateway?
What does your "modem" look like (connectors etc.)

Its a westell 6100 modem, and its directly connected to my computer, theres a DSL line, ethernet line, and power cord.

And my ip address is xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.

I have tried disabling all fire walls including the one thats ON the modem, but to no avail.

Any ideas?

Is there an option in the modem called "Bridged Mode" or anything alike, if so turn it on.

You should be able to turn off everything in the modem resulting in internet supply only, which is the thing you want.

There are "Bridge"s in VC configuration, and one is enabled, in settings it shows my external IP here are settings:

Bridge settings

DHCP client: enabled
Mode:routed bridge (i can change this to bridge and proxy bridge)

Beside the firewall theres nothing really i can turn off, if i turn off the only bridge my internet wont connect.
