Ports forward.
#1
I'd like to know if I've set my router up correctly (for srcds)
since I've experienced a lot of people disconnects before they even get on the map?

and what ports are being used?
since I've noticed the 60XXX ports being used.

Picture of the setup is below.

Your ports look like they're getting forwarded correctly.
If they weren't, I believe that clients wouldn't even be able to connect to your server.
A possible reason for the disconnects could be that you have several client downloads on a slow connection?
Why don't you post your IP so we can connect to it and give it a shot?

[ADDON] For future reference, this site is excellent: http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Dlink/DI-624+/Half_Life_2_Steam_Server.htm

Thanks for the link! the IP is 80.163.11.14:30000
It might be the download. But It's a 2mbit/512 connection atm. Soon it'll be upgraded to 5mbit/1mbit

Do you mind me asking why you don't use port 27015?

A quick reason of the disconnects might be because you are using fake clients and the people are realizing that once they enter the server?

[ADDON] I connected to the server myself and waited about 4-5 minutes for downloads to complete and lost my patience. I think that's your problem.

I have series of servers (All the other ones are running on a 100mbit connection)
All of them runs on port 30000, it's easy to remember. I know, 27015 is easy to remember too.

And yes, fakeclients might be the thing, but I've seen people disconnect often when there's other players connected.
But It might be the download part

Regards,
Chris
