need help with assigning servers to different cores on CPU. im running xeon quad.

cntrl alt del hlds.exe ->set Affinity.

If you want to do it through a bat file you're already running:

Hmm, wierd, it doesn't work for me, a CMD window just flimmers by then nothing happens.

make sure you try to leave CPU 0 available for the OS if possiable.

YES you can assign affinity for Linux boxes also... here is a tutorial
