Is it better to have 1 core, 4.2. Or 2, 2 2.1?
Thanks in advance!

I would say 2 cores at 2.1ghz.

(For anyone who doesn't understand wtf he's saying, i think he means a 4.2ghz cpu or a dual core 2.1ghz)

I'd go for the dual core too, 2 is always faster than 1 if you ask me.

Ok thanks, i am getting that i was just not sure because i saw a post saying that srcds uses one core, so i thought then it would be just using 2.1ghz.

Well, having 2 cores takes load off of the other so that the operating system and other things can use the other core.

1 server can only use 1 core at the time but when you ahve multiple servers both cores will be used.
