I got it working now, people can join

but i was wondering what setting do i need for surf server and how do i make my server 100tick with 10 player max server ? Im using the console source dedicated server and does anyone know where i can get the noblock mod

i have linksys router. i set up a server for cssource and it seems that no one can join do i need to run it with a external ip or the static ip is fine. if i have to run it with external ip how can i change it to external tnx

Run it with whatever ip is assigned to the network card (usually 192.168.x.x)
In Windows XP---go to start, run, type 'cmd' then enter, and in the command window type 'route print'. The numbers on the first line under the words interface is the ip address. You'll also need to make sure that you have ports open on the router and on the software firewall as well as permitting the program external access. See post 3 at the top of this thread.

well it already use that ip and i also open all my ports using portforwarding.com guide also run the .bat file from post 3

brutallica, outside users will connect to your external ip--see http://www.whatsmyip.org, if you post it in the next 10-15 min, I'll try to connect.

Don't know where noblock hides,
100 tick can be set in the command line by adding -tickrate 100

WARNING: keep in mind this uses 2-3x as much bandwidth and resources on the server, if you don't have enough bandwidth or resources the server will decrease quality alot!

Command line in the server console? when i type it in there tickrate is unknown command :\
