Hey, i'm new to this forum and i hope this is the right place to post this:
I'm running srcds for windows XP and trying to get a CSS Ded server going and run Mani admin, i installed the game in the proper folders, made sure the vsb (or however its called) was in the addons folder, put exec mani_server.cfg in server.cfg under cstrike/cfg. and when i start srcds it mentions that its loaded then it say UNKNOWN COMMAND BLAHBLAH.... for SEVERAL mani_ commands. tried everything on the forum, nothing works.
Thanks
~nate

type "plugin_print" at the console and it will tell you what mods are loaded. it either is or it isn't, it doesn't load halfway. did you add yourself to the admins via clients.txt or if the older version adminlist.txt?

Used adminlist.txt, i know its not loaded but it says mani-admin-mod then it goes through a whole list of unknown and no mani commands work. is there a how to install along with metamod, my friend told me metamod would fix it

has nothing to do with metamod or whatever, you probably didn't install mani admin correctly.
Like did you add a .vdf file to load the plugin and if you did is it correct?
must be something you forgot or didn't know about... mani always worked on the fly.
ALso you'll probably get more problems with metamod than with mani standalone.

I always had this problem. What I didnt realize was that you had to run the VDF thingy in order to make the loader. It seems so obvious when you are using Remote Desktop but when you are FTPing to a Hosting company it can be pretty difficult. You live and learn.
