good luck then, perhaps you should google "how to find a folder in linux"

maybe "man find"?

If you installed it as rootand run it as root..... and if you followed the tut on this site you can either:

Quote:cd srcds_l
./srcds_run -console -insecure -game cstrike -maxplayers 32 +map de_dust2

or

Quote:./srcds_l/srcds_run -console -insecure -game cstrike -maxplayers 32 +map de_dust2

either way you cant have.... or shouldnt have installed it to roots home folder, it should be in its own folder!!!!!

reading this again are you actually saying you isntalled it in the root fo your filesystem??!?!?!?!?!?!?!

if you did use this:

Quote:cd ./
cd srcds_l
./srcds_run -console -insecure -game cstrike -maxplayers 32 +map de_dust2
^^this assumes that cd ./ takes you up a directory, i normaly just pres ctrl+alt+F2 and start in another "tab" leaving that one in the dir..... if its wonrg some just say

root of the filesystem?!??!?!? WTF
