HLDS update tool crashes soon after start

MY hlds update tool crashes soon after the start and at first it started downloading, now it just switches off after 3 secs of running and i only got a cstrike folder in my directory of srcds need help

simply re run it every time it shuts down, see what it does then, is there any error?

no i mean like first time today i switch on pc and start it again, then it just says checking version. you know and then it switches off, i turn it on again and it imideatly switches off, wierd thing that exactly when i read that it may crash, then it crashed lol

1 What line are you using ont the updater
2 open up cmd: start>run>cmd then run the updatetool from that window, now it won't close when it crashes so you can read an error if it's there.
