I Am the only one who can connect to my server

Hey, could you help me with my dedicated server? ok thanks, I give my ip to my friends and i put it on my favs but i am the only one who can see it and the only one who can go on it i am made about this cuz i got a scrim in like a week and we need a server to play on. Could you help me if you cant i understand[/align]

First of all which Ip are you giving to your friends, if you are behind a router you have 2 IPs.
1: Internal IP, this Ip will show in the server console and can only be used by people in your network.
2: External IP, this Ip will be for people on the internet, you can find this IP by going to http://www.whatismyip.com

If that doesnt work make sure you have the ports in your router forwarded correctly, if you don't know how to do this go to http://www.portforward.com

Yea i know that i am using a wireless linksys thing and its givin me the same IP as the computer in my downstairs so what do i do and i went to whatsismyip.com and it gave me the ip but what am i spoced to do wit dat give it to my friends or is that my lan ip cuz i really dont get this shit!!

the IP from whatismyip.com is the Ip you give to your friends, it's the same on every computer in your house.
