Help with IP-problems.

Though i have lan set to 0 on my server it is on lan.
It is 192.168.50.101:27016 when it should be 81.229.33.181:27016 or veloxity.mine.nu:27016. Please help ive ran out of ideas. And yes i have a router.

Yes atleast i think so, i have Sweex LW050. Pretty sure that they are forwarded. The server won't show up anywhere not in Lan list or internet list... And it says that ip is 192.168.50.100:27015 thats the lan ip right. Can you change that?

Go to http://www.whatismyip.com - tell me your ip from there.

The server will always show the internal IP because the router has the external.
It's supposed to be that ip. When you portforward the router will send the request from someone on the internet to your servers internal IP.

i got a question.. what do i do with my ip that i get from that website.. just send it to my friends like that or do i have to put the port onto it?..

Can someone plz post an exact list of the ports i need to forward? I have a buffalo WHR-G54S
The SteamUF ports and the ports listed at http://www.portforward.com where different and I became even more confused.
Also a side question of mine...I have Comcast cable internet with a upload speed of 384Kbps...so tha leave me in a 6-10slot range on my server for CSS correct? Im located in Chicago land area.

UDP 27000 to 27015 (Gameport)
UDP 27020
TCP 27030 to 27039
TCP 27015 (SRCDS Rcon port)


Maximum players:
6, anything higher than six won't make it I'm afraid.

Also, I know my server will proly never show up in the steam servers list...but my problem is that no one(people not on my router) can add it to favorites and can only connect via console. is something missing from my NAT table? or something wrong? or is this just how it is?

Looks fine to me, if they can connect to it they can also add it to their favorites, make sure they do it OUT of the game, so in the steam server list window on your desktop. Favorites list has been bugged for a long while now.

I added a server six times ingame and it didn't show up, when I went outside the game and looked at my favorites the server was there 6 times....

Ok heres a question from a freind that i know you guys can answer. What is the slot max on this connection 7846kb/s down, 1206kb/s up? looking to run 2 servers around 12slots..possible?

It should be able to hold 24 slots at 33 tick. When hosting 66 tick I'd say max 14.

I jsut recentaly had a powersurge do to some storms and my servers IP got reset. Would putting my modem and router on a battery prevent an ip change? or do i have to buy a static ip from Comcast? The battery is about 45$..and which ever is cheaper is the road ima follow. thnx
