Downloaded SRCDS Files

hello, I just downloaded all required files for SRCDS via this hldsupdatetool and it really took quite its time.

as this first install was jsut for testing purposes,
and the "final" install is planned to be on another Harddrive and I want to avoid this long download again, my question is:

Can I burn those ~700MB onto a CD-R and copy them manually in to a c:/srcds folder on a fresh xp install?

sure, but why not download it fresh at the server you want to host it at?

well, because it took quite its time..

chances of running a good server if it took long to install is really small.. You might want to consider checking your upload connection, and check how many players you can handle.
