Tickrate question...

Hey

I have this question.
If i run a dedicated server on 256mb upload, should i have 66tick or 33tick. If i run at 33tick pc will work slower, so it can hold more players or i'm wrong? If i run 66tick pc will work harder and game will be more smooth but then i cannot have that many players?

specs:

Intel Pentium 4HT -
1024Mb ram -
160GB -
3.06GHz -

Internet: 1024/256 :/

I think that 256mb would be 256kbps.

It will run 4 players at 33 tick, might be able to push to 6 but chances are big it will lag

So you would rather say i should have 33 tick than 66?

It's a home dsl line, you'll only be able to host 2 or 3 players on tr66 on there.

its 1024/256 internetspeed. When i had my old pc i had 4 players include my self to play on it. Was abit lagg... droc, says maybe 6 i dunno.. i've putted it into 33tick now..
