SRCDS Steam group


i am having problems with my server

ok here is the thing i did everything as you said in the tutorial how to set up a server ok everything works great except one thing if i make a shortcut here what is in my target lin
C:\srcds\srcds.exe -tickrate 100 +map de_dust2 +fps_max 600
when i click on it nothing happens but if i start the server through run command it works but i still get one thing saying
couldn't exec banned_user.cfg
couldn't exec banned_ip.cfg
couldn't exec bot.cfg can someone PLZ PLZ PLZ HELP ME!!!!!!

well if it's a new server you don't have a banned_user.cfg nor a banned_ip.cfg, if you want bots and didn't make a separate bot.cfg then it can find or execute it either....

what about the shortcut ehh nvm i just bought an original cd this thing has too many bugs and errors in it!

it's not bugs and errors you just didn't set it up right but whatever works for you.......

how can you buy an original cd for this? it's not purchasable.

he's probably talking about the CD for CS:S and the steam/gui version of the server.
