The option is now available to test your server with dynamic pricing.
This was taken from Alfred Reynolds at Valve Software on the HLDS Mailing list:
We have released a special beta of Counter-Strike: Source for the new
dynamic weapon pricing feature. If you want to try out this new
functionality on your server then run the hldsupdatetool with
"cstrike_beta" as the game parameter, for example:
Win32:
./hldsupdatetool -command update -game cstrike_beta -dir.
Linux:
./steam -command update -game cstrike_beta -dir.
Please let us know if you come across any bugs so we can post it on the mailing list.

Howdy,
It seems that in the new beta release is a bit of a bug. My server crashes or freezes about once / hour. This did not happen with the old version.
I'm using the new cstrike_beta and mani_admin_plugin. Everything starts ok. But after an hour or so the server drops all the players with the notice:
L1013044.log:L 10/13/2006 - 19:04:12: "Player<45><STEAM_0:0:xxxxx><CT>" disconnected (reason "This Steam account is being used in another location
And i mean _Everyone_ is dropped. Then the server restarts itself and all is well again - for about an hour.
I mean wtf? What could cause this? Any ideas?

maybe mani_admin_plugin is not compatible with this version?

Yes, it seems that this problem is related to mani_admin_plugin, because the problem did not appear after I took the plugin off. Sorry about the false alarm dudes.

I'll put this here aswell. Moderator may remove if needed.
I think it is a kindoff bug with the linux version of the new beta release. The server freezes after about 30-60 minutes of play for about 2 minutes. During this time you cannot type into console and server drops all clients. After the freeze is over - everything goes back to normal. This was / is not a problem with the "normal" release of CS:Source.
First i thought this was a problem with my plugins (mani_admin_plugin and etb), but after a lot of testing - disabling the plugins only postponed the freeze.
I am running the srcds server with AMD Athlon XP running @ 2.0Ghz and Debian (Woody) linux.
However. I solved this problem only temporary by renice:ing the srcds_* processes to -10. After this the server did not freeze.
Edit: Not solved. Problem persists.
Best Regards,
Seppo

After extensive testing last night I can say for sure that the problem is in the CS:source Beta -server. I tested the beta release server with clean install and the problem repeated.
Just to clarify the problem.
I am running the srcds server with AMD Athlon XP running @ 2.0Ghz (1GB) and Debian linux (kernel now 2.6.18-cks1). The CS:Source beta server starts up fine but after 10-20 minutes of gameplay (tested only 3-> players) it freezes - nothing can be typed in the console and after a while all clients are dropped. After 2-3 minutes the server continues to operate.
This is not an issue with addons, because the problem exists on a clean install of CS:Source beta. There is not any problems with the normal release of CS:S.
Anyone got any ideas?

It broke pretty much everything, there's lag when playing (clientside), graphics are totally f*cked up and servers are outdated or not running as they should.

Does the server crash right away? If not, you could try putting mp_dynamicpricing 0 in your autoexec as a temp fix. Sorry guys, I don't know what to tell you.
