Slow Doors
#1
We've gotten two seperate private servers that have both had the same problem. while the two public servers we have with the same company don't have this problem with doors.

Doors open far too slowly and are very choppy while in the process of moving. We are aparently the only customers with this problem.

thought it might be something in the server.cfg but it should have been pretty much default.

or if its something else that you may know of please share.
This is a somewhat urgent problem to fix.

I'm not too sure. In most cases this is a resault of server processing frequency or its pipe choke. Nothing seems to be wrong in the server.cfg. I recommend hosting a listen server with the same server.cfg or start a new server from the Counter-Strike:Source client. See if that works.

i bet the servers are 100 tick? if so then thats why. lower the tickrate and it will help.

I bet that doesn't matter. I've been to alot of servers with low frequency processing units, and a wide range of tickrates. It's never seemed like what he has posted.

It's a known issue lately that 100 tick slows down everything, do as skeletor said, lower the tickrate and see the magic.

Toungue

100 tick servers have wierd results on different, even high end systems. Been proven, and lowering the tick will help.
