Slow moving doors, trains, etc
#1
I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this since the last game update. It seems that every door takes painfully long to open... I have a custom map with a moving train in it and it is sooooo slow it's laughable. It's like anything with a moving physics is totally messed up.

My server is;

-Windows
-25 slots @ 100tickrate
-Mani admin plugin (newest release as of today)

I read somewhere that it is possible that it is related to the tick rate of my server or the settings I have in my server.cfg. Any info on this would be very helpful.

try lowering the tickrate. It could be just that the server can't process enough fast enough so its slowing physics down. There are occasions where 100 tick servers can cause problems just like that. So give it a try is about the only way to rule it out.

Okay, so on the 24 slot public server, I dropped the tickrate to 66 and it seemed to solve the issue.

Unfortunatly, I have a 12 slot 100tickrate public server on a windows machine that is doing the same thing. I have had it installed twice & even moved to a different machine with no luck. Any idea's guys? or has anyone else seen this?

if lowering the tickrate on one worked, why not try lowering it on the other one to see if it works as well...

I would like to be able to have a 100 tick match server for this season of CAL. I didnt mind dropping the public server to 66 which seemed to solve the issue. I was just hoping someone else has seen this I guess & maybe had an alternate solution.

You can set the tickrate at any number from 10-100, try lowering it with little steps of like 2 so like 100->98->96 etc untill it works correct. You don't HAVE to run 33 or 66 or 100.

Sash windows are not just typical windows, but their speciality instead. They add character and elegance to any room where they're placed. I prefer to check this https://scottjameswindows.co.uk/ and get more new skills for windows. But, without proper care, you can end up with broken sash windows or other problems that can be dangerous to your home. So, if you want to enjoy the beauty of your restored sash window for years to come, you should get in touch with some of the best sash window restoration specialists near you.
