Closed source (possibly free) web based panel
#1
I'm THINKING of developing one. It will be closed source, and it MIGHT be free. But im looking for developers: php/MySQL, Linux shell scripting, web developers, all I can think of for now. Theres going to be 2 parts, it'll be simular to cortex or GameCP where you'll have a master and slave servers. If anyone has talents in what I need, feel free to posts with links posting your work. No PMs.

Features I am looking to implant:
Easy install
Plugin managment(install, config, remove)
Map managment
server managment with configuration of course
Multigame support

Other features will come later in development. I do not know if i will greenlight my project, depends on how many developers I can gather.

Can't code much here, but I would suggest something like Gamepanel (http://www.gamepanel.org) developed in ASP, since most people uses Windows based boxes. Easy to configure, except it wont truly work with steam updates unless you hack it.

It'll possible to run this with windows, you'll just need a master server that runs linux which i can probably rent out in the long run.

But overall, im not looking for one, just looking to develop one.

Are you still interested in doing this?
I was looking around for a web based manager of sorts and found this. I don't have much experience other than my own site (http://evildomain.org) and http://podtropolis.com

Though, I'm assuming that this idea is now dead, seeing as the previous posts are a couple months old.
