server creation problems - zombiemod
#1
ok, so here's my problem
i downloaded zombie-mod 1.2.1 and metamod
first i instaled metamod to steam deticated server
then i copied the files from the zombie-mod archive
then i edited the zombiemod.cfg how i wanted
i started the deticated server and in console i typed
meta list
and it writed this:
-Id- Name Version Author Status

but it had to write:
-Id- Name Version Author Status
[01] ZombieMod v1.2.1 c0ldfyr3 RUN

then i typed "rcon zombies"

and it said:"
Unable to connect to remote server (0.0.0.0:0)

but when i connect to my server from css everything is normal
no mod, just a normal server

please help

maybe its gotta do something with ports?

The plugin simply doesn't work, this has nothing to do with ports or the srcds. You just gotta configure the plugin correctly, you should find documentation on the website of the plugin

You put them in the Right place but you have to write the maps into the mapcycle/maplist your self

oh that explains, you're running the steam version, I highly suggest getting the standalone dedicated server and run it in console mode.
