Buying a large crate seems convenient if you burn wood regularly, but individual bags are much easier to move and store in smaller spaces. Which option works better for you, and does the extra convenience of bagged logs justify choosing them over bulk crates? The site currently offers its kiln-dried firewood in both formats.

Jumping in on this older post because I think this is a great question. I started with crates for the savings, but I switched to bags when I moved into a place with no garage or covered porch. The bags stack neatly under a bench and I can grab one without dragging bark everywhere. Have you found that bagged logs dry out faster than crated ones when stored indoors?
