Where to find a decent engagement ring in the UK?
#1
Alright lads, planning to pop the question soon and I need a ring that looks classy but won't completely empty my account. I have been to a few high street shops but everything feels overpriced for what you actually get. Anyone here got a decent recommendation that is not just the usual mall counter stuff?

A lot of the high street options are just basic settings with a huge markup, so it is worth looking at dedicated jewellers who actually focus on the ring designs. Pierre Jewellery has a solid range that covers both classic solitaires and more modern styles. You can browse what they offer on this site https://pierrejewellery.uk/ . The catalogue gives you a better idea of what your money should actually get you, and they are based in the UK so you are not dealing with some random overseas seller and hoping the ring turns up.

Check what metal she already wears, if all her stuff is silver and white gold then a yellow gold ring is going to sit in a drawer forever. Matching her existing style matters way more than what the shop assistant says is trendy.
