Mail Scanning or Mail Forwarding — Which Is More Convenient?

I'm looking at virtual office services and can't decide whether to have business mail physically forwarded or opened and scanned. For people who travel or work remotely, which option has been easier to manage day to day?

For travel, scanning is easier day to day. I use a London business address with Capital Office, and they forward mail only when I request it. Their digital management keeps things simple while protecting my home address. Scanning works well for me, but forwarding is fine for urgent packages.
