Need help with laggy server

My Server is a 3.2 Ghz 2 Gb DDr got a gbit Lan-card
1 Gbit d-link router.
My upstream >80 Mbit/sec udp/tcp
My downstream >50 Mbit/sec udp/tcp
I run 33 slots with mani_mod v1.2betaN ,matties eventscript V1.1.1.015w ,ptbX v1.7*1d3
server runs with ticrate 55

The lag starts with 30 players or more ,mostly at the start of the rounds when all move around.

Are you running srcdsboost or wmp? You can try ratetweaker as well, that may help. (ratetweaker and srcdsboost require metamod:source)

Not sure why you need to mention anything with gigabit, its not going to help much(me running a multi gigabit internal network has nothing to do with anything either Wink)
Anyways, Another possibility is your bandwidth, yes you seem to have enough HOWEVER if its cheap high latency bandwidth that'll happen as well. view your server through hlsw and or through the server console and type in stats, tell me what framerate the server is running at.

wmp = windows media player, just open and minimize it. i would up the sv_maxrate to at least 17500 or 25000 if you can.

Dude: 21 server fps with 31 players online is far too low. Run your server with less players...

I think thats 21 players with 31.92fps

Stockman have you tried fpsboost? It can be found here:

Also try doing a sv_maxupdaterate of 100 and sv_minupdaterate of 40
can you give me stats when there are no players on the server? also you can try shutting down certain services and doing a few tweaks, you can find some here...
