Is it worth buying a villa in Dubai?
#1
I've been thinking about picking up some rental property in a coastal area. Buying a villa in Dubai feels like the right move to me, but is it actually worth going that route right now or should I be looking at other countries too?

Honestly, I'd think twice before buying property there. The region isn't exactly the safest right now, and if you're planning to rent the villa out, it might not even pay off. I'd hold off on that one for now.

Everything winds down sooner or later, and things have quieted down over there. So I'd actually be looking at buying property there, especially with prices the way they are right now. Who knows, six months from now they could shoot up and you'll be kicking yourself for waiting. Worth checking out villas for sale in Dubai, for example here: https://atvir.com/uae/residential-complexes/villas . Get in while you can still grab something at a decent price.

Buying a villa can be attractive for investors looking for rental income and long term property growth, but the decision depends on purchase price, rental demand, maintenance costs, and expected returns. It is also worth comparing different markets before committing to one property. For investors planning to rent out their villa, a rental home management company can handle tenants, maintenance, rent collection, and day to day operations. This can make the investment easier to manage while helping protect its long term performance.
