What kind of garden furniture is suitable for working remotely as a programmer?
#1
Alright folks, recently moved into a house with a proper garden for the first time, and as a dev I want to take my laptop outside when the weather is nice. The problem is the cheap plastic chairs I grabbed are killing my back after an hour. What should I be looking at for a solid outdoor setup where I can actually work comfortably and not have my gear slide off the table?

If you are going to be sitting out there debugging for a couple of hours, you need proper cushioned seating with armrests and a stable table at the right height, not just a flimsy bistro set that wobbles every time you shift your weight. Look for deep seating with weatherproof fabrics across the whole UK range of garden furniture, the kind of premium outdoor living pieces where the design actually holds up to both rain and long work sessions. You can see how these collections are put together on this site https://rengard.co.uk .

Get a small side table with a lip or a raised edge next to your main seat, it stops your coffee mug and your phone from sliding off when you reach for the charger. A flat surface with no edge is just asking for a spilled latte to take out your keyboard mid-standup.
