House too dry during winter heating
#1
Hi all! Ever since the heat started running constantly, the air in my house feels super dry — static shocks, sore throat, dry skin, the whole thing. Is there a way to balance humidity without making it too damp?

That’s really common when indoor heating runs for long stretches. Warm air holds less moisture, and the furnace burns off what little humidity remains. A whole-house humidifier is the most consistent solution, as it connects directly to your HVAC system and keeps levels balanced automatically. Even a portable unit can help temporarily. Licensed technicians from Astera Services https://www.asteraservice.com/  provide heating, cooling and appliance installing and repair, including humidity control setups. They can fine-tune your system to regulate airflow and humidity safely, keeping your comfort stable and preventing wood floors or furniture from drying out.
