Hardware "helpers"? Are they safer?
#1
I've been going down the rabbit hole on this. I saw some people talking about "hardware" based solutions. Like a special mouse or a box you plug in. The idea is that the anti-cheat can't scan it because it's not "software" on your PC. Is this true? It sounds complicated and expensive. The review I've been reading mostly focuses on software. Are these hardware things better? It seems like a lot more setup. I'm just trying to figure out the safest possible route if I decide to go this way. The software ones seem easier, just download and run. But if they get detected, you're toast. This is all new to me. This site has a good breakdown of the software DF Hacks https://www.lemonfiles.com/s-articles/df-cheats.html. But it doesn't mention hardware stuff. Anyone know the pros and cons?
