Server is up, but need help accessing it

I finally have my server up, but I dont know how to access it in the game. I used the ip address that appeared when I opened up the console(Network: IP 192.168.3.17, mode mp,dedicated Yes, ports 27015 SV / 27005 CL) and I tried "add server by ip"(192.168.3.17:27015), and no server showed up. Also, eveytime I open my server, I typed "hostname" just to test if my cfg was working; but evertime I typed hostname: this appeared: "hostname" = "Day of Defeat"

is there somthing wrong with these cfg's?

You should be able to see your server in the LAN tab.

Those commands don't do anything because there is // infront of them. When // is infront of a command it's not being executed.

also make sure that the cfg is called server.cfg and not server.cfg.txt

If it still doesnt work try adding +exec server.cfg at the startup line
