ALMOST THERE!!!! HELP!!!!

Heres what I typed in run to get my server going. I want my server up for Day of Defeat: Source, but when I put dods in the command line, nothing happends. The only way I can get the server console up is to put dod in the command line. can someone help me!!!!



c:\srcds\srcds.exe -console -game dod -port 27015 -map dod_avalanche -maxplayers 16

i believe it needs to be -dods and not -dod for dod:source. give that a try.

edit: nvm answered in another thread.... it's -dod in the run line.

indeed, -game dod is the correct one, no idea why they did this but for cs: source it's also -game cstrike and not something with source.

Because cstrike is still considered the "mod" theres no need for cstrikes since, even on the steam client. you have a dir for counter-strike and a dir for counter-strike source. why change it when keeping it simple is easier.
