Was curious if runing a sv_maxrate of 30000 is best for a 40man 66tick server.


Have everything els set up properly and the sv_maxrate currently set to 20000 but for some reason players are getting chock up into the 50's+ so I was curious if I upped the maxrate that it would make it a bit more stable.

Well if you have unlimited transfer I would put it to 30k always, even when it's 4 players lol.

Just try, it can't break your server or something

Current allocated bandwidth is about 3300GB/mo transfer.

Am currently using about 2400gb/mo

well upping 1 server to 66 tick will do fine. You wont reach 3000GB when you put it on 66

Currently eating up around 2000-2400GB/mo with 2x 40man 66 tick servers.
