.cfg folder?

i would guess i place the server.cfg into -

source dedicated server\platform\config ??

only the 2 files in there come up as a .vdf format? and in the console it never loads my server.cfg.

i made sure i saved it as server.cfg (without.txt)
anyone know why that is?

you place the server.cfg file into <dedicatedserver>\<modname>\cfg
