Travel Question and Concerns
#1
I’ve got a holiday booked in a few months. I REALLY want to go, however I’m neck deep in an AN relapse. My parents are concerned and if things don’t improve/worsen, they said they will have to “ask for advice“ and want me to get a fit to fly note from a DR. Or said I might need one anyway.
Does anyone have experience on how this works? Has anyone ever been medically told they cannot fly?
I am an adult. But going on a family holiday.
The only thing I can think of that’s concerning is my heart. And being underweight, but not severely!
Im not sure how to navigate this…

A friend of mine had to get a fit to fly note once and it was just a short check-up where the doctor cleared them, nothing too heavy unless there are serious concerns. Airlines mostly just want to know you’re stable enough for the flight. On a lighter side, when I traveled after a rough patch I booked an airport transfer through http://bookinglane.com/ so I didn’t have to think about transport on arrival.
