Ok so im running 2 severs on my comp...But the 2nd sever has all the files of the 1st server. The only thing I konw how to make diff is the Server name by adding it on the cmd line. But is it possible to have 2 diff servers. And have diff files for them. Like make a Diff motd. and not have the same ppl as admins on both servers? Is this possible and if so where can i find a guide for it? TY

Just copy the folder to another folder example: c:\srcds2 remove the files you don't want, add the ones you do want, then edit the files to needed adjusted changes. If your server only has one IP you need to add the -port command and make it different from 27015 use like 27020 or whatever.
EDIT: Also don't forget to forward those ports as well.

actually another thing he can do is create server2.cfg and add +exec server2.cfg on the command line
I'm just realizing this, probably would be best since it saves space. just pretty much make double of each important config and label it like motd2.txt
IIRC doesn't server.cfg get exec <insert maniconfig file name here>.cfg? i don't remember how it works anymore.

you need to forward ports if you're using your home connection behind a router. if this is for the server provided by serverkid then you don't have to forward anything.

they're probably reselling someone elses vent, according to IP, the texas server (where they host vent) is a dedicated one from defconservers.com and defcon is on the vent list.
