Night vison scopes
#1
Anybody have any experience with them? I'm looking to get one for my AR for occasional coyote/fox hunting.
I'd like to keep it under $400. I'm looking at Sightmark Wraith HD 2-16X right at that amount. Also the ATN.
I know you can go upwards of $5000 and more for one but I don't want to go crazy.

I see it's been a while since you've posted, but I just wanted to ask if anyone has tried out any of the newer digital night vision scopes lately, like the newer Sightmark Wraiths or the ATN models? I've been looking into doing some low-light hog hunting and would love to hear real-world feedback, especially how they hold up in rougher weather or recoil from heavier loads.

I picked up a thermal unit recently through pixfra.com and was impressed with how clear the image was, even in rough conditions. The menu was easy to figure out, and it held zero without fuss. I’ve used it a few times during early morning hunts, and spotting was way easier than with my older gear. For the price, it felt like a solid option without getting too high-tech or overcomplicated.
