CS:Source Server 100tickrate + Boosted
#1
Hey, I would like to know if there any way to make my server 600FPS boosted maybe even hyper accelerated if that's possible, is there any commands to do that?

That really depends on your hardware, I for example will never get close to 300 FPS because I have a 1GHz processor..

You can boost your server on Windows by opening Windows media player or the SRCDSFPSBoost program.
Boost it on Linux with -pingboost command line (I believe, I'm no Linux guy)

To change the tickrate simply add -tickrate to the startupline

I always boost my servers, increases the preformance bigtime. Also you shouldnt run tick higher than 100, there will be strange client issues, warping, shocking, while all your stats say nothing is wrong Wink

go here for info on rates vs slots:

http://www.serverwiki.org/index.php/Advanced_Tickrate#Server_Bandwidth_Calculation_for_Dummies

at 25000rate 40 slots will use 8Mb upload AT MOST. a single player with no one else around won't use the max of 25000 but in a gunfight everyone involved will.

So how to get a server boosted? 100tick rate I did, its 100tick but so it would be smooth, and every damn shot would register..?

Hardware not a problem, Intel xeon 2.4, 2gb ram, 100mbit connection, its only going to be 11 or 10 slots

you can boost your server on Windows by simply running Windows Media Player or use a program call SRCDSFPSboost.exe (I prefer this one)
