Yes, but enabling ports on an IP address and then having dhcp assign the server a different IP can create a problem, whereas enabling ports on an IP you know will always be the same will work.
Server isn't working :-(

You obviously dont know what DHCP is then. Do you even know what a MAC address is.

What is the internal ip address of your server? Did your forward the ports for that specific ip. Also make sure to check that u clicked the enable radio button.

yes I did everything. is there a way for you to make completly sure Remot Assistance or somthing like that?
I would but thats like last, last, resort type of thing. Post the internal ip address of your server. Then post a screenie of your port forwarding page from your router. Everything takes time. It took me 3 days to figure the forwarding for my puter. Literally. But it was bcuz i had to forward ports in my modem and my router.

I noticed the problem. Its because you have the wrong ip in the ip field. The ip you typed in is the LAN IP of your router. Try 192.168.1.4. I checked the console screen you posted and it says the network IP for your server is the aforementioned ip.

so you want me to change the ip in the Port Forwarding to 192.168.1.4 instead of 192.168.1.1?
Yes thats the wrong IP. You gave it an ip of 192.168.1.1, which is the ip of your router. You have to use the internal IP of the machine the server is running from. And from what the console stated the network ip is 192.168.1.4.
it says I the connection was refused while trying to contact 192.168.1.4.
And I went to 192.168.1.1 and changed the endings to .4 and restarted the server and nothing happend, still the same. Do you have Aim if so please PM me your Aim so we can talk on there plz.
That is really weird, becuz regardless if you have forwarding correct or not you should be able to still connect to your server. Forgive me if i dont have the most urgent responses, as I am a frequenter on the psp forums also and Im trying to help someone there too. Ima do a lil research for ya tho and see if i cant come up with anything. Damnit Dro where are you?
REMEWED POST
So your saying even if I have my ports forwarded or not I still should still be able to see my server using the internal IP adderess?

You wont see your own server on the steam master list. There is a select few that can, but 99 percent of the time you wont be able to see it in the list even with the correct port forwarding. I just said you should be able to connect to it whether or not the forwarding is done. As long as the server is being run from your LAN.
