remember to erase logs every day cause it will fill up your disk quota in few weeks

I was expecting a certian level of professionalism here that seems to be absent. It annoys me to no end when people post their own questions in someone else's thread. Half the time the original quesiton never gets answered and I really don't have the time to check this every day to see some vague response "it is ok to run that"

I was hoping someone with many years of server hosting experience would review what hardware I am running and review my server configs and give a detailed reponse as to if I am running too much for the hardware availible. If my rates and what not are correct.

I was not looking for someone to post some bullshit about server logs when I am not even asking about server logs. And just so the record is clear, it doesn't matter if I ever delete the dam logs, I have no disk quota or bandwidth restrictions.

So I guess it's up to the people that know what they are talking about to either answer my question or not but please don't come to me with a post that just says yea that works or whatever, if you don't know then don't post.

erm.. I don't know whats the matter with you but..

1st reply you got pretty much says it's fine AS LONG AS you delete the logifles every once in a while.

It's just a tip, plus I didn't reply to YOUR question but to the other guy's question because yours was already answered.

here's your answer:
The servers will run fine, it's a good config. I think you can even up the tickrate of the 33 servers, if your bandwidth limit allows it.

Evil mother. If you were that worried about it. Why don't you ask in a place more PROFESIONAL! This forum can be professional at times and at times it can't

THANK YOU! Thats all I was asking for.
I tried them at 66,66,100 tick and it was really bad, lots of choke, so I panicked and set them to 66,33,33 tick. I will try uping one back to 66 and see what happens and go from there. I kinda thought I was a little weak in the RAM department though.

Hi,

first i'm pretty sure you're not on a OC-48 Wink maybe your ISP is...but not your server...

You're maybe on a 10mbit burstable to 100mbits or maybe a 100mbit directly...depending on the service provider.

Secondly, your setup is OK, but i was you i would compile a 2.6 kernel and set the HZ frequency to 1000 and after that i would add +fps_max 600 to all my server!

It didnt hit too much the CPU or the Memory but it boost your server a way in the front...

Personnally, i had problem with keeping the tickrate at 66 or 100 in high players server (26 by example) ... and with the +fps_max 600 ... it fix the problem easily ...

There's a guide how to modify your HZ ...
