Name: SRCDS
Private IP: your INTERNAL IP
Protocol Type: TCP/UDP (depending on which port you forward)
Private port: The port to forward.
Public Port: again the port to forward
Schedule: Always

Private/internal IP can be found by typing ipconfig in the CMD on the server machine.

example
Name: SRCDS Main
Private IP: 10.0.0.23 (this was my old one back in the old days when I used a router, use yours here ofcourse)
Protocol Type: UDP
Private Port: 27015
Public Port: 27015
Schedule: [X] Always

forward all the following:
[UDP] 1200
[UDP] 27000 to 27015
[UDP] 27020
[TCP] 27030 to 27039
[TCP] 27015

then is there another one i have to do like firewall tab or something?

EDIT: i just tried to do a 2700-27015 and i cant do a -27015, just 2700

You have to enter all the port seperatly (yes i know it's a pain in the as, but it's the only way) so 27000-27015 means:
27000
27001
...2
...3
etc etc

I say try UDP and TCP 27015 first, see if it works, if not do the other ones.

And yes this has to be done in the Virtual Server.

If all still doesnt work and everything is CORRECT, then the last thing you should do is try your firewalls.

In all these years I've worked with Firewalls I have NEVER EVER seen one that blocked ANYTHING I treid to do..
Standard Firewalls do NOT BLOCK outbound traffic and when you put them in the virtual server the router will automatically open them on the firewall.

I always say keep your firewall on, because they weren't made to be put off.

DMZ = demilitarized zone, mean all ports are open on ur comp, mainly used for diagnostic purposes. You can DMZ the IP for your server, if it adds to the master list, and it didn't when u just had the ports forwarded, then it basically means your forwarding is effed up. If you would have read more at portforward.com you have learned there isn't enuff room to forward all the ports for the server and it recommends putting the server into DMZ mode. From here you can either A) DMZ your server B) Get a new router

Yeah, thats what i tried explaining to you in my last post. Theres not enuff room to add all the SRCDS ports. If you would have looked into your router at portforward.com you would know this. You can either DMZ the host ip for your server or get a new router.

You're going to have to look in your routers configuration page, just look for DMZ somewhere, it's more then likely in advanced settings. It's not necessarily dangerous but it does leave all your ports open for intrusion, but the person would have to single you out on the internet which consists of how many billions of ip addresses.

how could i have protection if i enable my DMZ? and what could somone do if they found my ip or what ever.. and if somone was playing on my server could they some how find my ip?>

Every single person that connects to ur server knows ur ip. They know that port 27015 TCP and UDP is open. It's not gonna make a difference whether you DMZ or forward the ports, either way the ports are open, and if someone is out to get you they'll get if the ports are open or not.
