Source dedicated server

can anyone give me a link or tell me step by step how to install an admin mod where u can kick ppl ban that comes with stats etc.... it was easy on cs 1.6 usin amxmodx it was automatic installation and easy to set up the admin thing but im lost for source dedicated server...

go to mani-admin-plugin.com and download the newest version. Then read the documentation. Everything u need to know is there.

thanks for the help i got mani admin to work now only thing i need help is to configure the server this is what it tells me in console..

couldn't exec server.cfg where do i put the server.cfg and set the map time limit and all that??

The server.cfg files goes into the cfg folder. It contains the mp_timelimit, and lots of other cvars that conrol the server. If you google CS cfg maker it will bring up some sites that all u have to do is type what u want, create, and it creates the file for ya. It's really simple.

ahh ic i just used the server.cfg file from my 1.6 server and put it in C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\h__a__l__o\source dedicated server\cstrike\cfg and it works just i get this on some of the

Unknown command "sv_restartround" i get unknown command for sv should i take off all the sv_ stuff and leave the mp_ if u know what i mean

There are several cfgmakers out there, why not just create one for source? A lot of the cvars are the same as 1.6, but not all.

Yeah if u switch over to the source cfg maker, you wont have the sv_restartround prob no more. google it well ill link u instead......

That .cfg maker is for source mods......use the one for CSS of course. One of the members here skeletor created that one, so i bet hed appreciate if u spread the word about it as i did. that will take care of ur probs tho.

Hey guys im having trouble were can i get mani admin plugin for soruce dedicated server that i got from internet i donwloaded 1 and i installed it propally but it doesnt work can anyone help me i want admin so bad for my dedicated server

first of all you can admin your server without mani, just use rcon.
you can kick,ban changemaps etc.
