random server crashes
#1
Well since my motherboard went bad I decided to upgrade my server, so I put in a new motherboard, processor, and sata drive. I am running on slackware 10.2 with the latest kernel and I just copied back over my SRCDS files to the server (from my monthly backup). I ran the ./steam and it did it's update for my cssource, then I started up my server ./srcds_run -console -game cstrike +map fy_iceworld_orig +maxplayers 9 -autoupdate -tickrate 100 +fps_max 600 -debug. I am running Mani mod with my server for my admin controlls and before my mobo broke I had just installed V1.2 beata M RC7 and it seemed to be running ok for about a week. Now with the new hardware and os installed the server will randomly crash and restart, roughly every other map. This will happen either at the end of a map or during a map. Here is what my source debug file looks like:

----------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------
CRASH: Sun May 7 21:19:52 MDT 2006
Start Line: ./srcds_amd -console -game cstrike +map fy_iceworld_orig +maxplayers 9 -autoupdate -tickrate 100 +fps_max 600 -debug
Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1".
End of Source crash report

Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1".
End of Source crash report

I am still not having any luck with this problem. Anyone have any other ideas that I can try? If it helps here is what im running gcc (GCC) 3.3.6, ldd (GNU libc) 2.3.5, and kernel 2.6.16.16. The computer is a AMD 3000+ with 1GB Mem, 250GB SATA drive.

Also it does say the error in the console, but is goes by so quickly that I can't read it all.

I was able to run the server through ssh and here is what it shows:

L 06/03/2006 - 00:48:33: World triggered "Round_Start"
/hlds/source/srcds_run: line 344: 3389 Segmentation fault (core dumped) $H
L_CMD
"/hlds/source/core" is not a core dump: File format not recognized

well to test my study about it being my os I tried fedora core 5 and I am still having the same issues. I am begining to think that it is a hardware issue. Anyone have any ideas on what I can try to trouble shoot it some more?
