Im unsure of how to ban them from each map without typing in rcon each map but i know for certain that you cant ban weapons which appear at the start of maps (iceworld etc)

i got it. you edit a text file called default_weapon_restric.txt and remove the "//" from in front of whichever gun you want to ban on the server completely. i did both auto snipers, awp, and auto shotty. but of course for maps like iceworld etc that spawn the weapons on floor the weapons you ban will be there for those maps becuase thy are built into the map and arent something the client chooses to buy. personally i dont have too much ofa problem on those maps becuase theres only like 1 of each weapon.

I added bind "v" "admin" so when I am in the game I should be able to hit v and get the admin menu right? It does not seem to be working. I added my ID to the right file, nothing. So I tried ID;IP nothing then just tried IP and still nothing.

I added bind "v" "admin" after the server started and also tried it in my cfg. Any ideas?

no one has encounter any problems with mani on win2003 server? Only reason I ask cause thats what I'm running. And the server used to crash very often till I removed mani.

If you set up the plugin right, you should get something, even if you set up your admin wrong. What I mean is that, if you don't have access, it will tell you in your console.

where did you add the 'bind "v" "admin"' to? your config.cfg?

My Self and a Coleague ahve knocked up a nice PHP script for turning the Mani_ranks.txt in to a webpage

The LDU CMS (http://www.neocrome.net) has a plugin which allows you to put a server status viewer on an LDU installation, it comes with some thumbnails of the CS:S standard maps (sizes 64x64px, 82x82px, 100x100px and 128x128px).

For The Admin You Already Ask how to setup its pretty easy tho
first find the adminlist.txt.old and rename it to adminlist.txt (you can find it cstrike\cfg\mani_admin_plugin) and open it with a notepad

Then erase everything in there and type this one i send
STEAM_0:0:00000 // Name you want
Your Steam Id // And your Name Or Admins name
And start the server join server open your console and you can type Admin o just bind it bind \ "Admin" and everytime you press \ it ll show up the admin menu thats the easy way

hemimotorz I got 4 server running on a server 2003 win and its pretty cool you prolly set it up wrong its pretty easy to do something wrong cuz the most of the servers are @ linux
