Mani Admin Plugin Installation/Configuration Tutorial

ok my server is running good but when my mini admin screen pops up and i clack on one of them the screen disapers do u know what is wrong and what i should do

Go HERE, download it and install it following THIS GUIDE.

Now in your server cstrike/addons folder, delete mani_admin_plugin.dll and mani_admin_plugin_i486.so

Then add mani-admin to your metaplugins.ini

Linux

Code:

addons/mani_admin_plugin/bin/mani_admin_plugin_mm_i486.so

Windows

Code:

addons\mani_admin_plugin\bin\mani_admin_plugin_mm.dll

ok i did all that but what do u mean add mani_admin_plugin_mm.dll like copy and paste that in it

If you run windows, insert the code under Windows into your metaplugins.ini

ok i did all that now what is the command to get the list to show up i type meta in the consol and a sbnch of stuff pops up in the consol window but how do i get the command admin to show up on my screen

Same way you get mani admin up as before.

ok so i dont think i have it right cause now when i type in admin or ma_rcon it says unknow command but in my addons\mani_admin_plugin\bin\ folder there is know mani_admin_plugin_mm.dll but there are in one of the folders there is mani_admin_plugin.dll ok dude if u have AIM add me:mr ninja skillz or if u have xfire:slapaho3 or if u have msn:tylerhalo2@msn.com ok

As i have said before:

The only mani_admin_plugin .dll/.so files should have _mm in them.

To check if you have installed it correctly, type in console:

meta list

If Mani Admin appears in that list, then you have installed it correctly, otherwise, referr back to how to installed MetaMod:Source plugins.

ya i deleted those files and my mani_admin_plugin.dll does NOT have mm in it ok so now when i typei in meta list there is no mani plugin under id so i guess its not in it

ok so when i type in meta a bunch of thangs pop up in the consol then i type in meta load then were my mani file is located it says faild to load plugin c then when i type in meta list it shows

Go back HERE and follow the installation making sure you have a metaplugins.ini made and in the correct folder. Then add one of the lines quoted depending on whether you run linux or windows.

yup i have the windows line in the metaplugin.ini and it is in the metamod folder but then when i type in meta list in the folder there in nothing listed under id name and i installed it right and i do not have a thang called mani_admin_plugin_mm.dll in any file
