slow computer(hard drive slowing down)

Hey everyone, i was wondering if anyone knows how to fix slow hard drives or has any tips on it...
My 1 tb(biggest hard drive i have) went slow all of sudden, i cant even load css with it anymore...
Happened 2 days ago... been trying to fix it..
i did like 10 maleware and spyware scans, found some stuff but im guessing it been there for a while so that didn't help anything, i did disk checks, i did disk cleaner, degragment... Nothing is working...

Im not good with hard drives so if i give you guys the wrong data just tell me

I got hddLife pro to see if my computer hard drive was messed up but it says my E:\ drive(1 tb hard drive) is ok... says m c drive is the worse but obviously isnt.

My hard drive is a sata hard drive...
specs:
sata WDC(thats all i got so far please tell me if thats not enough)

Run a defrag on it. How much space are you using on it as well?

i did that
its 778/931 right now...
But it was working fine a few days ago then i left my computer and when i went back on it, it crashed with blue screen of death, then hanged at the windows loading screen and i finally got over it and now my hard drive is sooooo slow.

You're using that silly compression ( blue folder names ) that Windows has. This will always slow down your disk as your PC will need to decompress and re-compress files every single time you want to write to that disk. Also you might want to turn search indexing off as it builds an index ( list ) of every file location and their keywords for the search feature. This will slow down search speeds but will reduce CPU, Memory, and IO usage when writing and reading lots of files.

yea i did try turning it off, comes back up, i shut down the service, but still it runs again....
well i also have a hddscan which comes up quite interesting for the hard drive...
