Are you sure your just not filtering it out by putting in the wrong region in the server browser?

i have two tf2 servers and neither of them show up on the master list..however my cs:s servers l4d2 servers and dod:s servers are...

i have tried adding the master servers in the console, server.cfg, tried adding changing regions, making sure no one messed with the firewall, even disabled the firewall and tried to find it on the master list with no problem..

when i view interactive desktop it says it established a connection to vac servers...its driving me insane trying to figure it out...i have even switched it back and fourth to a different ip that hosted a cs:s that showed on the master list there, but not in tf2..

some of my favorite servers that used to show in my tf2 master list like the [AH] dustbowl server is no longer there either...unless there is a bug with tf2.

There is some problems with TF2 server list as far as I can tell. The last TF2 update made Windows 7 users to see servers in server list. Before that update Windows 7 users was not able to see any servers at all in TF2 server list. I dont have any Setmaster addmaster for tf2. I just leave that blank and start it up and that works perfect. Try that.

. It should be 27035 I think you meant.

CentralFrag, I've already set sv_region to "Sv_region 3" because I'm located in Europe. For the setmaster thing I really dont know what you meant there. I dont understand what you want me to do with those. Tell me if they should be in the server.cfg.

Thanks for the help. Appreciate it =) I'm going to try Arjens tips first. Btw, my friend told me something about that my Internal IP is shown in the "Server Info" inside CS:S - Find Server (For him). I've tried to place +ip EXTERNAL IP when i start the server in the Run field but then I get a crash.

EDIT: Btw, Arjen, you told me that I should have 10 ports between each server. If I want to have like 5 or even 7 servers up then? Just saying IF I could. Dont think my connection can handle it but lets say it would. I have 25 Mbit/sec down adn 1 Mbit/sec up. Going to upgrade to 100 Mbit/sec down. Dunno how much I will get up then but meaby 4 Mbit/sec up? Anyways, just saying if my connection could handle it, do I have to forward like 27015 - 27060?

Hi there.... Try not adding the commands -ip and -port insted have the command line as -console -game cstrike -tickrate 66 -maxplayers 5 +map de_dust2 ... the server should find your external ip itself and if you chose Lan and internet the port will be 27015 by default.

My mate who owns a few servers gave me that tip so hopefully it works for you Smile
