Netcon Users
#1
I have several L4D2 servers that are using the Netcon option to allow for Telnet access to console. When I enter the stats command, I usually see this:

CPU In Out Uptime Users FPS Players
16.00 0.00 0.00 3976 1 124.35 8

But I have noticed lately that there are more users, like this

CPU In Out Uptime Users FPS Players
16.00 0.00 0.00 3976 3 124.35 8

Are these users connected to the console? If so, how can I find out who they are?

Can I restrict how many users can connect? Can I kick them?

Those can not be current players on my server. The Users number increment and do not match the players in game. For example, I see this now:

CPU In Out Uptime Users FPS Players
11.86 0.00 0.00 2518 105 28.44 4

My server only supports 10 players.

The user count resets when I bounce the server. When I connect to netcon, I see one User and no Players.

BTW - Sorry for posting in the wrong area.

That says that there is 4 players. Run the command again with both stats and status.

It says that there are 4 players, and 105 Users! Where is the Users count coming from? How can I find out who they are?

Thanks, but its not zombies. The number goes up over time and does not correspond to the number or commons or specials in game.

Does anyone know of any commands that I can use to see who the users are? The Status command only shows the players.

Users are the # of people who has been in the servers since it has started and resets everytime you restart the server

Same way the user numbers increment... Such as a game server running for a long time will have 4 digit user numbers etc.
