Cannot Start The Ship Server

I am having trouble starting 'The Ship' server here is what I'm doing and getting as a result.

Your command line should look like this:

Connection to Steam servers successful.
   VAC secure mode is activated.

Thank you for that, It fixed the not connecting to steam problem.

However it's not showing up in the server listing and I can't connect to it.

Any idea why that is happening?

With Linux you are already on the console. Here the -console parameter does not work cause it is not needed. It is a Windows only command.

try using -ip and -port commands
./scrds_run -game ship -ip 0.0.0.0 -port 27015 +map batavier +maxplayers 32

Ahh, thanks for the information... Wasn't sure as the -console command is on the linux tutorial on the front page Toungue
