Suggestion for Big Commercial Pit

Please, say the names. Don't hide it. I want to know the names so I know who is bad and who is good. There are only handful of names there if I look at the authors. How do I know who is evil? Tell me, please. I don't want to help some GSP profit making CEO.

PS. I think the evil one (don't tell anyone) is one of them, they post the most at the commercial pit: dualcore, beaverbeliever, derek, chris. Let's take them DOWN!! Sorry, no, wait!! First we have to know who's the evil. THEN TAKE HIM DOWN!!! Permanent ban will teach him a lesson or two.

It's either: MAD|Chris or Derek. They both have 0 rep. However, Derek has couple negative and couple positive reps. Chris doesn't have any. It's difficult to weight it. On the one side Derek has got couple positives for being a asset. Then on the other side he's been downplayed by his competitors.

I bet loopyman is talking about Derek because he's given -1 rep for him.

The way its set up now works, for the most part. Without the pit people would be sneaking in ads all over the place on other forums at SRCDS. However, I think making some subforums for profit and non-profit offers/GSPs is a great idea.

We shouldn't worry about adverts for profit GSPs, after all it is up to the consumer who they buy from.

I think this topic is going off board here. We are not saying that we do not want advertisements, we are simply stating should limit it more than it is, be more strict in other words. Majority of the people who advertise help with the community, post daily, helps with people, etc. Others do NOTHING but post ads. This board is a community in which helps people, not SOLELY for advertisement purposes. Also, I am not hating on anyone, I am not in the GSP business.

The Ad Pit is one of the many areas that simply always has been there. The main reason it's not removed is because some people do enjoy using the area. We do our best to keep it spam free.

I see too much self-promoting here. Even the start of the thread is aimed at restricting the competition. The intention of this thread might not be as honest as it seems. If I were to decide I wouldn't create ogliarchy for the current GSP clique here.

Who do you think will be posting adverts for the next six months if the requested limitations are set to the forum? It's better to shutdown the whole commercial pit than create an exclusive playground for the GSP owners in this thread.

To make it very clear: I like it how it's now. Don't set more limitations to the forum.

I think you're missing the point... Why should we allow people to consistently take and not help others?

AND it doesn't restrict the competition... The users that just post advertisements simply just have to help users again...
This will probably not affect you unless you decide that you're too good to help users anymore and just post ads...

Also, I haven't posted an ad in the Pit in about a month... But I suppose I could just start posting ads instead of helping users, IF that's what you believe should happen...
