Suggestion for Big Commercial Pit
#16
I also agree. Don't allow commercial ads (meaning: ads by profit organizations) here at all. But having some space to allow clans/communities and other non-profit projects to advertise themselves might still be a good idea, I think. Who isn't interested doesn't need to read it :-)

sorry for being so direct, but your plan had commercial interests... this is not and shall not be a platform to help people making more money. (I hope the admins agree :-))

I disagree, profit organizations should be allowed to post in there because for them to be able to post they need to have posted quite a bit themselves(Helping other people). But I do think that the post limit should be increased for profit organizations.

Not everyone has helped to gain their post count, many and I mean MANY people have just simply bumped post's to get their count up.

Maybe there should be an active post growth rate for advertisers? Because we have some people that just post every 2 weeks without helping anybody.

Make it 1000posts and only visible for REGISTERED users or hide it for them.

That is a good idea, only people who actually contribute to the srcds community can post in it under a certain group as realchamp suggested.

I suppose that could work... Maybe not restricting it to registered only...

Or we(mods/admins) could have to approve the post.

Yes and it doesn't take that much to click approve or disapprove.

so your argument is, profit organizations will help others because they will be able to make some ads later? and if they couldn't make those ads they would go away and not help?

[this is a question for understanding, I do not (yet) judge or comment this opinion :-)]
