Ok well I created a host, and I used the update tool and it said status: good, asked my friend to join using "connect khaos.game-host.org:27015"
And it worked!
Thank you very much for helping me with this, I really appreciate it, I've been trying to get a dedicated server for 3 years (just look at some of my old posts).
There's only 1 other thing. Would my friends have to join through the console like that every time?
It's not really a problem, it would just be convenient if they could:
1. Add the server to their favorites
2. Join through steam friends
3. Find it in the steam list of servers
But anyway, I have to thank you again. Really appreciate it.

I thought there was only 1 kind of static IP. I've looked up how to create it, and it requires the DNS address which is just "192.168.0.1" on my computer, and I thought they were meant to be dynamic like "72.142.124.3"
Can you explain it a bit more please, it would be nice to have this instead of using a DynDNS.
I created a local static IP. I can see why DynDNS is better to use, because the IP to connect to never changes.
But like I said before, is there a way for people to:
1. Add the server to their favorites
2. Join through steam friends
3. Find it in the steam list of servers
Thanks for you're help everyone.
